SOCORRO CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Socorro Consolidated School District (SCSD) is a K-12 district that is comprised of seven schools, an administration office, maintenance / bus barn and GRADs facility with a combined permanent building area of 364,000 ft2 located in the Socorro, NM area. SCSD engaged in a guaranteed energy savings performance contract (GESPC) with Yearout Energy to reduce utility and operational expenditures while improving the indoor learning environment across several of their facilities.

  • Installed 454 Tons of High Efficiency HVAC Equipment with new Building Automation System
  • Remediated 39 ft2 of air leakage
  • Water conservation District-Wide
  • Installed (9) new HE transformers
  • Installed 329 kW DC Solar PV across (5) facilities
  • Installed 80,000 ft2 of new roofing with improved insulation
